The Denis Group today known as Maison Denis was established since 1862 by the Denis family. Today, Maison Denis has a presence in several countries namely in Asia, Australia, Europe and Indian Ocean region.
The Group gains its strength and stability from different activities, in which the group is able to achieve and maintain a high level of professionalism. Today we are in three different sectors of activity ranging from food & beverages (Production & distribution), health equipment and Consumer goods & HVAC and professional kitchen equipment for HORECA.

Our History in the Indian Ocean
Our presence extends across various countries of the Indian Ocean and different sectors of activity ranging from food and beverage brands, to health equipment, to consumer and light equipment, and to refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
The group began in Madagascar in the 19th century with SICMA Sarl (Société d’Industrie et de Commerce de Madagascar) in Madagascar. SIRUD (Société Industrielle de Représentation Universelle et de Distribution) in Mauritius, both ensure a regional presence for the Group, which also exports goods to Seychelles and Mayotte.

Our timeline in the region
1973 - La Réunion
Creation of the SORIC company in the island of La Réunion. The business soon became a base from which to develop the distribution of consumer good products and professional equipment to all the islands of the Indian Ocean.
2000 - Madagascar
Denis settled back in Madagascar in 2000, with the incorporation of the SICMA company.
2003 - Mauritius
The extension of the business in the Indian Ocean was completed by the incorporation of the Sirud company in Mauritius.
